About us

Suffolk Anglican Mainstream exists as a group within the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich committed to promote the Scriptural Truths on which the Anglican Church was founded.

S.A.M. aims to do this through:

1. The Proclamation of the Spritual Truths on which the Anglican Church was founded
2. Encouraging appropriate Pastoral Care to all, seeking in all cases to apply Biblical truths to individual circumstances
3. Contributing to the Policy decisions of the Church through public open and sensitive debate and consultation (at diocesan, deanery and General Synod levels).
